great sling made well and compact

I'm giving the backpack 4 stars because it seems to have very sturdy construction. However, I am returning it because the water bottle pockets will not hold a typical refillable water bottle. It will hold only the smaller disposable water bottles, which is not very useful for a backpack. If the water bottle pockets aren't an issue for you and the relatively small size of the backpack are OK for you, I would say this would be a good purchase.

I purchased this bag for use as a trauma kit. The G4Free "G4Free Tactical Sling Bag Backpack for Men" opens up into two pockets with one restraining strap. Rear panel is well padded, and with zippers on both sides, opens into a "secret" compartment. Interestingly, the "inside tool holder" looks suspiciously like a holster. So this sling pack would offer a conceal carry option. The buckles/fasteners are plastic.

The overall material and construction is pretty good. Got all the necessary bells and whistles. Lots of pockets and compartments, so that you can fit many of your random items. Good for traveling too, holding onto your critical documents and a few more traveling essentials, headphones, jackets, umbrella, water bottle etc… (basically this can also be your EDC/every day carry bag). Also love the velcro loop area in the front, you can customize this bag by putting a bunch of “morale patches” up there. Best of all, the price is very good for what you get. G4Free is a good affordable brand that always does pretty good in the cost vs performance department, its a good value brand.
