This is a great looking tote, but it wasn't quite right for me. The front pocket is just a big, open pocket. I prefer something with a key leash and at least a couple of zip pockets or even slip pockets for phone and keys. The laptop sleeve is padded and suspended, but it's huge (17" probably fit no problem) so my 14" flopped around a bunch. The velcro closure is at the top, so it does not make it more secure.

I picked up the 16" Protective Laptop Backpack because I was tired of bulky, over-engineered bags that felt like overkill for a standard office commute. The breathable mesh back panel and contoured shoulder straps make it comfortable for longer walks across campus or through a busy airport terminal.The only minor critique I have is that the side water bottle pockets are quite tight; if you’re using a wide-mouth insulated flask, it can be a bit of a struggle to slide it in when the main compartment is fully packed. It’s a small trade-off for such a streamlined and aerodynamic silhouette that doesn't snag on subway doors or crowded elevators. Overall, it’s a high-value, reliable choice for anyone who needs a professional business backpack that looks just as good in a boardroom as it does in a coffee shop.

This ended up being larger than I thought in person. Has lots of room for a laptop plus all kinds of accessories. Would make a great travel bag and the material is well made. Lots of pockets but looks fairly masculine in person.

At first, I was disappointed that this bag was not more structured but after using it daily this is one of the best daily bags I’ve owned. There are multiple pockets in the main compartment and I can carry a 40 oz tumbler in one of the internal side pockets, 17 oz water bottle, 12 oz travel coffee mug, a book, a journal, over ear headphones, and a bulky sweater, and a 16 inch laptop.My things don’t feel cramped or hard to reach. I haven’t even mentioned the big front pocket for smaller items and the back pocket for your wallet. The top handles are handy to have and use as I have an easier way to hold my bag while commuting on crowded transport. I’ve been really tough on this bag as I use it daily. It still looks good except it has clay dust all over since I take it to my art classes often. This bag feels very durable and I think I’ll have it a while.

This thing is slick--AND it's a beast. I really like the way it looks, feels, and functions. There is nothing about this in person that says flimsy or cheap. I admit, my laptop is a mere 15" MacBook pro, and it swims in this laptop bag. I have no doubt a gigantic laptop will fit in here--it could almost fit a monitor, lol! I could also see you fitting an Xbox One or other console in here as makeshift transport, though I wouldn't buy this backpack for that specifically.I am a busy mom and I tend to have a lot I have to carry. When I do need to bring my laptop somewhere, I can fit my laptop, MULTIPLE water bottles, chargers, headphones, case, hoodie, spare clothes, etc. etc. etc. ... with room to spare. This holds more that it looks like. One of the best parts? All the compartments. There are so many compartments, or maybe just the right amount. 2 large water bottles can fit on the outside without falling out when you bend over. For reference, I put my 30oz Owala water bottle in there. There are also 2 more water bottle slots on the inside. There is a padded location for your laptop with a velcro piece to ensure it doesn't fall out. There are numerous zippers everywhere, including one large one on both the inside and the outside, and a small zipper on the back of the bag. The straps are comfortable with the weight of the stiff you can put in there and there are sturdy handles you can use also. I have zero complaints about this backpack. What a win!
