After a recent 10 day trip it became very apparent that my old style (large) travel backpack was too heavy and cumbersome to be practical.This replacement one is DIVINE!! Just the perfect size for a compression packing cube with extra set of clothing (and pr. of shoes), in addition to the usual flight paraphernalia that is easily accessed in the various compartments.This will offer much more foot space when stowed under airplane seat.I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT, ESPECIALLY:-- top quality double zippers on the larger compartments....to lock, and in case 1 zipper bombs out.--clean uncluttered look, elegant water repellent fabric--well constructed and comfortable/breathable straps--spacious capacity and just the right number of compartments without being TOO many (confusing)--hidden back compartment with trolley strapThe price for all these features is GREAT!!!!

Perfect size for travel. Just the right size to carry your wallet, keys, book, magazine, iPad. The backpack is well made and is definitely water resistant…rain beaded up on it when I moved from the car to the house. Zippers move smoothly. I am using it instead of my purse for everyday travel on errands.

I would never in a million years classify this as a hiking backpack. There is no breathability on the back side and no buckle across the chest to keep it secure. That being said, it's a great backpack for work or trips! The waterproof material is nice if you are traveling, things just roll right off. It is on the small side so it won't hold as much as a traditional backpack, which is fine if you travel light like I do. There are two zipper heads on the main pocket so you can zip it up from either size or meet in the middle on the top.

This backpack was perfect as my personal item on a European trip. It was large enough to hold what didn't fit in my carry on but small enough to be a day bag when needed. The padded straps made it very comfortable and it sat well on my shoulders. It also fit over my suitcase handle for trips through the airport.

Nice size for running around. Enough pockets to store things. Color is nice and soft...not very loud...subtle. Straps are comfortable and easily adjustable.
